You & me, in cherry blossom

Christy and her partner flew in from Australia for the last week of the cherry blossoms. They came with their own props and their own sense of fun, so we shot it the way it felt: one bright morning at Seonyudo, no script, cut to music.
Heart sunglasses, a basket of plushies, a picnic laid out under the trees. They picked all of it before the shoot, and it turned out to be the surest way to film them. The playfulness on screen is just the two of them. We agreed the props ahead of time and then followed where they went.
No lines, no sitting still. A blue bicycle down the riverside path, the blossom tunnel, a field going gold at the end of the day. The film keeps moving because they did. The photographs and the film come from the same morning.
Shot on the day by our photographer, working right beside the film camera. Real photographs, not frames pulled from the video. Two crafts, one shoot, one team, and you keep both.
The Sequence is a styled shoot, agreed before the day and cut to music. With Christy the styling was already theirs: the heart sunglasses, the plushies, the picnic. Our work was to plan the morning so none of it needed directing, then keep up. The photographs come from the same morning, in the same light.
