They asked for a pre-wedding that felt like a fairytale. Instead of booking a string of locations, we found one place that could hold the whole day: a seaside pension in Pohang with mountains at its back and the sea in front. Three changes of clothes are paced across the day, and the film ends after dark with a candlelit dinner on the pebble beach and sparklers under string lights in the pines. There is no dialogue. Everything is cut to music.
An ask like theirs usually turns into a list of locations and a day spent driving between them. We answered it with one pension on the Pohang coast and built the whole day around it. Everything in the film stands within a short walk of the front door: the pine grove, the mossy tide rocks, the grass headland over the water, the pebble beach below. No car between setups meant the couple still had energy left when the candles came out after dark.

The wardrobe was planned as three acts. White dress and black suit under the pines while the light was still soft and pastel, the red dress deeper in the forest, then a black gown for dinner and a beige suit once the sparklers came out. The grade stays airy and low-contrast through the daylight, and a few passages drop to black and white so the color lands fresh when it returns. The last act goes warm on purpose: candlelight over the dinner table on the pebbles, then string lights and sparklers in the pines.

The Sequence is a styled shoot built around one couple and cut to music. The locations, the order of the day and the changes of clothes are settled with the couple before we roll, so the day itself can stay loose. It usually goes out as a film together with the day's photographs.
